III. Theory
Measurement is a process or activity to determine the quantity of something that is numerical. More quantitative measurement, even as an instrument for assessing.

slide calipers is a measuring instrument which can reach one hundredth of a milimeter accuracy. Consisting of two parts, the stasionary and moving parts. The reading of measurement depends on the skill and precision as we as tool users. Most recent output has been equipped with digital display. In the analog version, generally the level of accuracy is 0,05mm for the term alone below 30 cm and 0,01 for those above 30 cm. Use slide calipers himself has follow:
1. To measure the object from outer side is flanked.
2. To measure the inside of an object that is usually in the form of holes (in pipe, others).
3. To measure the depth of cracks or holes on a body in away plugging or puncture the gauges.
In studying slide calipers then we will know nonius scale premises. Many measuring devices equipped with nonius scale as well slide calipers, these tools make measuring instrument capability greater or precise, because the distance between two neighboring lines as if the scale is smaller sometimes a main scale division and is 9-10 parts nonius scale.

IV. Method:
1. Preparing tools and materials.
2. Measure table length with ruler.
3. Nothing range or measurement to the table.
4. Measurement volume of stone with beaker glass.
- First, fill the beaker glass and see the number of volume it.
- Enter the stone to the this beaker glass see the number of volume.
- See change between volume the water in the beaker glass before and after stone is filled in the beaker glass.
- Change it is volume of stone, and nothing to the observation table.
5. Measure diameter of fountain pen with jangka sorong.
6. Nothing range of measurement to the table.
7. Do twice time measurement in a object practice.
