Factors that affect plant growth

Factors that affect plant growth

Plants can experience growth because it has a meristem tissues in the root tip and stem ends of its constituent cells continue to divide. Plant growth is influenced by internal and external.
a. internal factors
Internal factors, namely the factors contained in the body
plant itself, in the form of genes and hormones to grow. There are various
kinds of hormones to grow, as written in the following table. let
we look at the table.
Table 1.1 Hormones in Plants and Functions
No Hormones Function
1. auxin
Stimulates cell renewal, speeding differentiation, and stimulate the formation of flowers and fruit.
2. Gibberellins Accelerate growth.
3. Cytokinins stimulate cell division.
4. Cooking ethylene gas the fruit, grow into thick trunks.
5. Absisat Acid Inhibits growth, helping to shed leaves
in the fall.
6. Rhizokalin Stimulates root formation.
7. Kaulokalin Stimulate the formation of the stem.
8. Filokalin Stimulate the formation of leaves.
9. Anthokalin Stimulate the formation of flowers
10. Traumakalin Accelerate wound healing.
b. External factors or environmental factors
External factors in the form of light, temperature, humidity, and nutrients affect plant growth. Light or sunlight is the energy of green plants to perform photosynthesis. Temperature and humidity can affect various physiological functions of plants, such as opening and closing stomata and transpiration rate. Nutrients used for plant growth and development. Without nutrients, the growth process can be inhibited. For example, farmers cultivate the plants regularly. Factors that affect plant growth
